Reese's Tea Party

This year Reese decided to have a dress up tea party! Very girlie! We decorated everything we could with pink and purple, made little sandwiches in the shape of flowers, mini cupcakes w/ pink and purple icing. Every girl got a bonnet when they came in and it was quite the 'proper' tea party...even with pinkies in the air while we sipped tea! :) She seemed to have a really good time!

Daddy/Daughter Dance

Reese got a special treat just in time for her birthday. She and Jamie went to a special Daddy/Daughter dance at the FBC here in Melissa. Daddy's Rockin' Angel was the theme. He went all out. Dressed in a suit, got her a corsage, rang the doorbell to "pick her up" and opened her car door. SHE WAS IN HEAVEN!!!!! He said that she danced all night but the highlight was the chocolate fondue fountain!!!! DID I RAISE HER RIGHT OR WHAT!?!?!?! She's got her priorities straight! :)

Reese's Bday at Gramma's

We celebrated Reese's 6th Birthday on Easter too! As you can tell she enjoyed it! She really enjoyed her Easter bonnet/tea party hat cake that Gramma made! Yum-o!!!! Thanks Grammy!

Ready, Set.....HUNT!!!

Hunting eggs at Gramma & Grampa's is very special for me because I hunted behind the very same bushes, trees, etc. when my Mama lived here. What memories! Funny Easter story: a few days before Easter we had been talking about the Easter bunny bringing baskets. The night before Easter we saw a bunny on our front porch to which Hunter exclaimed..."Momma...is that the Easter bunny? Did he bring me a treat?" Love that boy!
