Easter!?!?!

Well, for those of you who don't live in Texas I might have to explain these pictures. No...we are not hunting eggs in December although it looks like we are. This year it was FREEZING on Easter. As if this wasn't enough for the kids they were both sick with ear infections and "goop" coming out of their eyes due to the ear infection. (Of course...we didn't know this until the Monday after Easter when we went to the doctor.) So...there are no pretty pictures of Easter outfits and stuff like that. That's Texas for you! You will see that the weather or ear infection didn't slow Reese down hunting for eggs. Hunter was sicker than her though. He slept during the hunt. Besides...we aren't walking yet (by his choice) so that would have been interesting anyways. I think we were all a little exhausted anyways because of Reese's birthday falling on Easter weekend. Busy, busy, busy.

It's hard to believe she's 3...going on 13!!!!

What a fun year this has been. I won't say much because the last few blogs about conversations we've had with Reese pretty much sum it all up! We think she is too smart for her own good sometimes. She is extremely independent...sometimes too much! We think that we can do EVERYTHING on our own. She had a great princess birthday and got loads of stuff. One special thing she got was a "tea table" from GrannyLou (Jamie's grandmother). This table was her table when she was little that her dad made for her to "sip tea" at. Reese loves it! She still loves to dress up, she plays pretend a lot...especially pretending to be a mommy to her stuffed animals. Her and Hunter have a love hate relationship. He loves her and she does too...sometimes! In fact, when she gets in trouble for being mean to him and has to go to her room, he is following right behind her to "check on her" and make sure she is okay. He can't get enough of her. She always keeps him in stitches when we travel and when they are eating. Reese is a true blessing and it's hard to believe that as fast as these 3 years have gone by they are going to keep going by even faster!!!
